KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. – Hydrotechnical Facility Division is responsible for the operation and development of the “Żelazny Most” Mining Waste Disposal Facility, a key element of the copper production process. The Division’s activities encompass the management of waste generated during copper ore beneficiation and process water, as well as the maintenance of hydrotechnical and hydro-transport infrastructure. The facility integrates industrial operations with requirements regarding occupational safety, environmental protection, and responsible mining waste management.
