For over 25 years, we have been combining our knowledge of international standards with the practical experience of our auditors and experts.

We share our knowledge not only through certification and training. We collaborate with universities and academic societies, and support conferences and publications by students and university staff.

We also carry out research aimed at helping our clients improve their organisations. We publish the results of our work in, amongst other places, the specialist journal *Problemy Jakości*.

Our history

PCC-Cert has been operating continuously for over 25 years

Start of the unit’s organisation

A decision was taken to establish a Polish certification body. The initial organisational work and preparations for obtaining accreditation were carried out under the auspices of the Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians (SIMP).

July 2001

Formation of a company

A company was registered, initially operating as Polskie Centrum Certyfikacji SIMP-CERT sp. z o.o. The company was established to carry out independent certification of management systems.

Obtaining PCA accreditation

The organisation was granted accreditation No. AC 082 by the Polish Centre for Accreditation, confirming its competence to carry out certification of management systems. This was the most important stage in building the new organisation’s credibility.

2001-2007

Building a position in the domestic market

The company developed its own certification procedures, recruited auditors and experts, and secured its first clients. During this period, it gained experience in certifying organisations from a range of sectors.

Making the business self-sufficient

After several years, the company achieved organisational and market independence. The partnership with SIMP was terminated and the use of the association’s name was discontinued. The organisation began operating as Polskie Centrum Certyfikacji PCC-CERT sp. z o.o.
Around 2007
2012

Launching operations on the Italian market

PCC-CERT has begun collaborating with partners in Italy. This marked the first significant step in the development of its international activities and the establishment of a network of international collaborators.

Organisational and legal changes

Owing to the company’s rapid growth, an increase in the number of clients and the expansion of its international operations, there has been a change in the management board and the legal structure. The company has now commenced operations as PCC-CERT sp. z o.o. sp.k.

2015

Relocation of the registered office to Kobierzyce

The company’s headquarters were moved from 74 Piłsudskiego Street in Wrocław to a new location at 29 Sportowa Street in Kobierzyce, known as Poland’s largest logistics centre. The move provided better conditions for the organisation’s further development.

Further international expansion

Cooperation was extended to further foreign markets, including Romania, Macedonia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. PCC-CERT developed a network of local partners and auditors carrying out certification processes outside Poland.

The establishment of PCC-CERT Group sp. z o.o.

25 years in business

PCC-CERT is celebrating its 25th anniversary. PCA accreditation No. AC 082, first granted in October 2001, remains valid, confirming the continuity of the certification body’s competence.
